Arabian Nights Dinner Show

This is the first dinner show we have been to as we had avoided them because there is a vegetarian in the family and we thought there would be nothing for them to eat. However, Arabian Nights do provide a vegetarian option and as we got bargain tickets through this site the show and dinner seemed very good value for £13 (http://www. park-tickets. com? villa=2228)

We got there early, which is just as well as there is limited seating before going into the arena but there was a conjuring act so that passed the time quite nicely before we went in. We had one person in a wheelchair so we were allocated front row seats so we had a great view, however, all the seats were well arranged to give good views.

The horses in the show were magnificent, as of course were the riders and all the elements were constructed around the story of the Arabian Nights. There was plenty of variety though with scenes involving circus type acts as well the more traditional displays of horsemanship. There was even a chariot race! The star of the show, however, was the black stallion which had a number of cameos roles without a rider or halter. They had horses for speed and precision and horses with smooth actions for the circus acts. It was genuinely exciting.

The whole show was pacy, and varied and held everybody’s interest well. The choreography was excellent and the horsemanship superb. It is probably one of the events that really would appeal to the whole family.

The important thing is to remember that you are going for the show and that there is also food provided. Don’t expect a gourmet experience. The food was served quickly and there was a choice of chicken, steak or vegetarian. There was a salad starter and a dessert. Wine, beer, or soft drinks were also served. It was fine and given that they produced several hundred meals at once quite good.

For an extra charge there is a VIP option. This starts earlier and visitors are given a behind the scenes tour before the performance and then have a special area for their meal at one end of the arena to ensure that they have the best view.

The Arabian Nights is easy to find as it is just off the 192 near the junction with the I4 and it is well signposted.

We were all pleased that we had visited this show and would definitely recommend it to others.
