What are the standard features for all vehicles?

  • All vehicles have air-conditioning, power steering and automatic transmission.

Can we choose the exact model and colour of the vehicle?

Are there any restrictions on vehicle availability outside Florida?

  • Outside Florida, any vehicle above the Full Size class is only available on request. Once your booking has been made, we have to wait for the rental company to confirm availability before your voucher can be issued. We cannot guarantee availability of these vehicles without a minimum of 48 hours notice. At busy periods in Florida e.g. Christmas and Easter, certain of the larger vehicles are only available on request in Florida due to limited availability.

Can we upgrade or change our car type on collection?

  • Yes, you can upgrade or change to a different car type on collection (subject to availability), but we strongly advise against this. Doing thing will almost certainly result in a fairly costly local charge by the car rental company even if the car you change to is cheaper had you booked through ourselves initially.

The free car upgrade offer does not show on my Order Confirmation

  • If you have booked a car with a free upgrade, the car will be upgraded free of charge by the car hire company on collection. For example, if you order a Compact 4 door and are told there is a free upgrade, you will receive an Intermediate 4 Door on arrival. The order confirmation you receive from us will not state the free upgrade.

    Once your balance has been paid, and you receive your voucher from us you will see the car booked (i.e. Compact 4 Door) but you will also see the free upgrade stated on the voucher too.

Am I guaranteed the free upgrade offered with Budget?

  • During certain times of year, free upgrades are offered by Budget to a higher category. When you receive your voucher you will see the car category booked (i.e. the lower car category) as well as a note with the upgrade 'coupon' code to the higher category of car.

    All such upgrades are subject to availability at the time of collection although in most cases the upgrade is available.

Can you advise on whether a particular car will accommodate all our luggage?

  • As car models can vary, as can the amount of luggage a typical family will have, it is not possible for us to guarantee your luggage will fit in to any specific vehicle.
